This final step in developing a new spa is the implementation of its operational systems. The first task is to define the particulars of the business - mapping out, in very specific terms, both the guest experience and the staff requirements. Once this information is in place, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are created, which include the personnel manual, the front desk manual, treatment protocols and operations manuals. This phase culminates the creation a three to four-week pre-opening training program, one in which a Lexi Design staff will be on-site for a minimum of seven days to oversee all instruction and implement all systems.
