Med Spa Social Media Posts That Actually Work

Med Spa Social Media Posts That Actually Work

We all know you should be posting to social media, but what exactly should you be posting? And how do you turn likes into leads? If you’re running a med spa or aesthetic clinic, your social media content needs to do more than just look pretty. It needs to educate, build trust, and move people one step closer to booking. Here’s how to create social posts that actually do the work for you.

Post with a purpose

Too many med spas post generic holiday graphics or last-minute promos. That’s not a strategy, it’s a time suck. Your content should support your business goals and reflect your brand’s unique voice and services.

We recommend creating content in these five categories:

  1. Educational
Teach your audience something. Break down what a service does, who it’s for, and what kind of results they can expect.
Example: “What’s the difference between IPL and BBL?”

  2. Behind-the-scenes
Show what it’s like inside your clinic. Introduce your team. Let people see your personality.
Example: “A day in the life of our nurse injector”

  3. Before-and-afters
Your results speak for themselves. Be sure to obtain client permission and use high-quality visuals.
Example: “2 syringes of filler. Zero filter.”

  4. Promotions
Got a seasonal special? A package deal? Don’t bury it in a caption; make it clear, compelling, and visual.
Example: “This month only: BOGO Laser Hair Removal!”

  5. Testimonials & Reviews
Let happy clients speak for you. Short and sweet wins. Bonus points if it’s a video.
Example: “I’ve never felt so confident in my skin.”

Write like a human, not a robot

Skip the medical jargon and talk like a real person. Use captions to explain the why behind a treatment, what makes your approach different, or what someone might feel during the process. Use a friendly, confident tone. If you wouldn’t say it out loud, don’t post it.

Don’t forget your CTA

Every post should guide someone toward the next step. That doesn’t always mean “Book now!” Sometimes it’s:

  • “Drop your questions in the comments.”

  • “Tag a friend who’d love this treatment.”

  • “Send us a DM to chat more.”

Social media is a conversation, not a billboard.
